A Stumbling Joe Biden

Policies pursued by the Biden regime continue to be de facto gifts to the Chinese Communist Party because those actions have been undermining US national security, foreign policy, the economy, and society in general since January 2021. Could this all be by design? Is Joe Biden a real-life “Manchurian Candidate” acting in service of his masters in Beijing?

While this is a seemingly far-fetched notion, would Biden’s actions be any different if he was in fact a bona fide Manchurian candidate controlled by the CCP? Let us explore the issue.

WHAT IS A MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE?

A Manchurian candidate is someone who is disloyal and does harm to one’s own country (or political party) because that person is under the influence of another country (or political party). Its meaning is derived from the fictional 1959 novel The Manchurian Candidate, written by Richard Condon, whose plot centers on a long-term KGB plan to plant a brainwashed sleeper candidate in the US political system to facilitate the election of a US president controlled by the Soviets. Their ultimate objective was to directly control US policy decision-making processes at the highest level in favor of the geopolitical interests of the Soviet Union.

Several American soldiers were captured during the Korean War and subjected to concentrated brainwashing by the KGB at a facility in Manchuria. Each American was conditioned through hypnosis and psychological torture to be a sleep agent, i.e., “a spy who is placed in a target country or organization, not to undertake an immediate mission, but rather to act as a potential asset if activated,” as described here. They were conditioned to be controlled through post-hypnotic triggers that could be activated by their controllers in the US after their release from captivity.

Two Hollywood movies were adapted from the book, including the original 1962 version starring Frank Sinatra and the 2004 remake starring Denzel Washington. Both movies are highly entertaining and worth watching.

BIDEN REGIME GIFTS TO CHINA

The policy actions of the Biden regime from its beginning have been directly beneficial to the geopolitical goals of communist China, which involve replacing the US as the world’s economic and military superpower. Anything that undermines the US – which is what many of Biden’s policies have done – advances China’s goals and objectives.

Here is a short list.

The economy. The Biden regime has taken a wrecking ball to the economy. In one of his first acts, Biden shut down domestic oil and gas production, which spiked gasoline prices to stratospheric heights. The Democrats’ Infrastructure Bill, the Orwellian “Inflation Reduction Act”, and the bloated Omnibus spending bill added trillions to the national debt and brought US inflation to 40-year highs. Other symptoms of the horrible Biden economy include (1) the personal savings rate is near seventeen-year lows, according to the St. Louis Fed, (2) credit card debt is at record levels, according to the St. Louis Fed, and (3) real wages in the United States fell, year-over-year from April 2021 to November 2022, according to the Mises Institute. Then there is the relentless push to transition the US economy to green technology through the implementation of environmental, societal, and governance standards that led to the failure of Silicon Valley Bank and the continuing US banking crisis. And now rising interest rates aimed at controlling Biden-induced high inflation are wreaking havoc in the US real estate market. Anything that depresses the US economy benefits communist China in the long run.

National security. There are many components of national security, and the Biden regime has undermined all of them. No country can be secure without secure borders. In one of his first actions, Biden reversed the Trump administration’s immigration policies and opened the door to a flood of 6 million illegals (and counting) across both the Mexican and Canadian borders. How does letting in would-be terrorists, gang-bangers, human and narco traffickers, and other criminals into the US enhance our national security? Not to mention the flood of China-sourced fentanyl and chemical precursors that are killing 100,000 Americans per year per the CDC. Then there are the deleterious critical race theory and diversity-equity-inclusion pers-admin policies foisted on the US miliary by woke DoD leadership that sow divisiveness and undermine unit cohesion, military readiness, and combat effectiveness. These policies are purposely transforming the military into something unrecognizable by most veterans, as previously reported by The Epoch Times. Those policies have led to not being able to meet recruiting goals without drastically lower requirements and standards. How does selling oil from the strategic reserve to China enhance US national security? Next, there has been the drawdown of weapons and ammunition stocks to unprecedentedly dangerous levels, as reported here, in an open-ended arrangement to meet open-ended Ukrainian requests. And the decision to retire Navy ships whose service lives could be extended in the face of the rapid build-up of the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). As reported by The Washington Examiner, by 2028 the PLAN will have 150 more ships than the US Navy under the current Biden DoD budget. The PLA leadership must be very excited in watching the Biden administration turn the US military into a paper tiger in two short years and counting.

Foreign policy. One of Biden’s first foreign policy debacles was the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left tens of billions of dollars of US military equipment behind for the Taliban (and, later, the PLA) to exploit. The Biden regime is pushing a woke foreign policy that emphasizes LGBTQI rights on other countries, which will backfire on America’s socially conservative allies, as reported here. The inability of the Biden administration to deter Russia from invading Ukraine was a clear demonstration of weak leadership, and the subsequent US-led boycott of Russia has leaked like a sieve from the beginning while creating tension within the European Union. As reported by Bloomberg, “Russia’s seaborne oil exports remained resilient in February, as the nation found new buyers even as the full force of Western restrictions was brought to bear.” The US has failed to stop China’s incursions into Middle East diplomacy, futilely watching while China brokered a rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran, as well as Saudi Arabia’s agreement to become a dialogue partner of China’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which moves the country into a closer security and trade relationship with communist China. China’s star is rising in the strategic Middle East while America’s is fading, thanks to Biden administration ineptitude.

Societal decay. The Biden regime’s emphasis on identity politics (particularly as relates to pushing the LGBTQI agenda), critical race theory, diversity-equity-inclusion, and other Marxist policies have replaced meritocracy, experience, and competency in hiring and promotion decision-making. The weaponizing of federal agencies against Democrat political enemies has been put on steroids over the past two years, with the FBI’s continuing pursuit of J6 protestors moving into its third year. The FBI’s raid on former President Trump’s private residence and opening of yet another special counsel investigation has exacerbated the mistrust of the federal government among many Americans. The lack of the FBI’s focused pursuit of violent antifa and BLM protestors stands in contrast to early morning raids of the homes of peaceful pro-life protestors. The rule of law and equal justice under the law have been diminished by the highly politicized Biden Dept of Justice.

CONCLUDING THOUGHTS

The original fictional Manchurian candidate in the book and movies was controlled through psychological torture and hypnotic means, but there are other mechanisms used by the CCP in exerting similar control that have been employed with Joe Biden. And those mechanisms include CCP influence peddling and outright bribery.

The Biden family has received millions in sweetheart deals with CCP-connected companies over the years. The New York Post reported a year ago that “anonymous Chinese donors” made over $23 million in donations to the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement after it was opened at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Cultivation of Joe Biden himself accelerated in March 2017, as reported by The New York Post: “State Energy HK Limited, a firm affiliated with Chinese Communist Party-backed energy company CEFC China Energy, wired $3 million to Biden family associate Rob Walker [that] was subsequently divvied up over a period of about three months to at least three members of the Biden clan, and two Biden family associates.” And last October, the Daily Mail (UK) reported that “Chinese oil giant CEFC plowed almost $11M into a joint venture with Hunter Biden - which was squirreled away largely by the president's son and his family in just a year.” Finally, there were the revelations of “10% for the Big Guy” as related by former Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski in recounting Biden family business dealing with China as reported here.

What did the communist Chinese buy for their “investments” in Joe Biden over the years? Perhaps they bought themselves a Manchurian candidate, given the gifts that Biden’s policies have given the Chinese in return. What would a brainwashed Manchurian candidate have done differently than what Joe Biden has done for the communists?
